Visit from Edel Carey from Irish Wheelchair Association

We were delighted to welcome Edel Carey who visited our school with her service dog Nala. She spoke to us about disability and how explained the difficulties she encounters in everday life and how she overcomes these difficulties with the help of her loyal companion Nala and with technology. The pupils really enjoyed the visit and enjoyed learning about the Daisy programme which involves teaching children about disability.
