Our Visit to the Blackwater River

This week in 5th and 6th class, we started learning about the features of a river and we started carrying out projects on our most famous Irish rivers. Therefore, we visited our local river today to explore it and do a spot of fishing. We caught lots of collies and one of our pupils even got a "blackjack" or an extra large colly. Lots of fun was had by all at the river.
