We had a very interesting visit from the 'Clean Coasts Development officer' Elaine Doyle today. She did a workshop in every classroom where she explained about the importance of Water in our everyday lives. She showed us how the 'Water Cycle' happens. She reminded us to 'Think before you flush or pour' and gave examples of the various things that can block pipes or even end up in our rivers and seas (such as wipes, cotton buds, hair and fat bergs). All classes learned so much and asked lots of questions.
We also had fun chanting our new 'Green Code', here it is:
"DO KNOCKNAGREE A FAVOUR, BE A WATER SAVER!!!!"
